These terms apply to estimates, installations, and warranty service provided by BCG Flooring Installation LLC. Your signed estimate and these terms together form our agreement..

 

Estimates and pricing

 

All estimates are provided free of charge and are based on the measurements, site conditions, and material selections discussed during your consultation. Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Pricing shown on this website represents typical ranges for our service area and is for general information only; your actual project price will be clearly stated in your written estimate. A signed estimate and deposit are required to reserve materials and schedule installation.

 

Changes and hidden conditions

 

Flooring installation sometimes reveals conditions that were not visible during the estimate, such as water damage, rotted subfloor, asbestos-containing materials, excessive moisture, or uneven concrete. If additional work is needed, we will stop installation, explain the situation, document it with photos if appropriate, and provide a written change order for your approval. No additional work will be performed or billed without your explicit authorization.

 

Materials

 

When BCG Flooring Installation LLC supplies materials, quantities include standard waste allowances for cuts, pattern matching, and installation requirements. Any unused leftover material remains your property. If you choose to supply your own materials, you are responsible for verifying quantity, quality, suitability, and manufacturer defects. We cannot warranty the performance of customer-supplied materials, only the workmanship of the installation.

 

Scheduling and access

 

Installation dates are scheduled in good faith and may be adjusted due to material delivery delays, weather conditions, crew availability, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you as soon as possible of any schedule change. You agree to provide safe access to the work area, working electrical outlets, reasonable climate control, and a cleared space. Rooms should be emptied of furniture and personal items unless furniture moving is specifically included in your estimate.

 

Payment terms

 

For installed jobs that include materials, a 50% deposit is due at contract signing to secure materials and labor scheduling. The remaining balance is due upon substantial completion of the work. Labor-only projects are due in full upon completion. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Balances unpaid after 30 days may incur a 1.5% monthly service charge until paid in full.

 

Refund and cancellation policy

 

You may cancel a signed estimate without penalty within three business days of signing, provided no special-order materials have been purchased. Once a deposit is received, it is used to order materials and reserve crew time. If you cancel after special-order materials have been ordered, your deposit will be refunded minus the actual cost of non-returnable materials and any restocking fees charged by the supplier. Cancellations made within 48 hours of a scheduled installation may be subject to a $150 scheduling fee. If BCG Flooring Installation LLC cancels a project for reasons within our control, your full deposit will be refunded. Refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days using the original payment method when possible.

 

Workmanship warranty

 

We warrant our installation workmanship for 1-year after the date of project completion. This warranty covers defects directly caused by our installation, such as lifting seams, loose planks, failed transitions, or improper adhesion. It does not cover normal wear and tear, pet damage, water or moisture damage, impact damage, improper cleaning methods, subfloor movement outside our scope, or issues related to customer-supplied materials. Manufacturer warranties on flooring products are provided separately by the product manufacturer and are subject to their terms.

 

Site conditions and liability

 

We take reasonable care to protect your property, floors, walls, and furnishings during installation and carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for our employees. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, structural settling, moisture intrusion from sources outside our work, or damage to items left in the work area. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected portion of the project. Any concerns about damage must be reported within 48 hours of project completion.

 

Photographs and portfolio use

 

We may photograph completed work for use in our portfolio, marketing materials, and website. We do not publish addresses, identifying personal details, or anything that could compromise your privacy. If you prefer that your project not be photographed or shared, please notify us in writing before work begins or at any time thereafter.

 

 

Governing law and disputes

 

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt good-faith resolution directly. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to pursue mediation or legal action in Meigs County, Ohio. The prevailing party in any legal action shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs.
